"So you want to know Who Is DigiDarla, do you? :)

DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea.

Emilea and I both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! There was only one problem! We are both shy and dislike the center of attention! As a way of "hiding behind the scenes" and avoiding having one spokeswoman, DigiDarla was born!"

Happy Friday!

This week we're being sponsored by
South African crafters are new to the digital stamping world, with the first South African online digital image store launched in 2010 – Digistamps4Joy (or DS4J) .  In May 2012, Margy Kieser took over ownership of DS4J, and there are now two South African artists who contribute to the more than 600 images available. Margy has taken the store to new heights and the store now stocks digis that are cute, whimsical, artistic, sometimes serious, and sometimes humorous. In addition, one of our own South African rubber stamp companies granted us permission for one range of rubber stamps to be converted into digistamp images. The store has PAYPAL, PAYFAST (South African) and EFT (South African) facilities.  Digistamps4Joy offers a monthly freebie on the first Friday of every month, and holds regular bi-weekly card challenges on our Blog ( ) that draw entries from many international card makers.
We (DS4J) are also active on Facebook ( and Paper Craft Planet (

"My name is Karin and I’m from the Netherlands. I’m 51 years and have been making cards since 2000.

I started with decoupage and then I learned to use stamps - both rubber and digital stamps. Now I’m coloring with Copics,
and I have learned this in 2010, and I love it. I've been a member of Digistamps4Joy Design Team since 2012, and I think this is such a great team and Margy is so wonderful".

"I have been a crafter for as long as I can remember, I got it from my mother,(an amazing artist). I was a sissor papers scrapbooker since my first son was born in 1997 but in 2005 I fell head over heels for digital scrapbooking. I started teaching myself how to make my own papers and elemts soon after I switched over. In 2009 I opened my etsy shop using my papers and elements to make digital collage sheets for pendant makers. In 2010 I started taking graphic arts classes at a local collage and learned to use the "adobe suite" which has opened a whole new world to me."
